Our mission
Millions of landlords either avoid Section 8 because the data looks impenetrable, or accept it without understanding what they'll be paid — and leave money (or tenants) on the table. Millions of tenants show up at PHA waiting lists never knowing the rules, the calendar, or the size of their own voucher.
Federal voucher data is public, but it's scattered across HUD archives, 2,134 PHA websites, annual plans, and board meeting minutes. We assemble it, verify it, and make it searchable — so the market can actually function.
What we do
- Track every PHA. All 2,134 Housing Choice Voucher agencies in the U.S. — contacts, waitlists, websites, and every payment standard document they publish.
- Verify and score data. Each data point has a source citation and a confidence score: high (primary document), medium (annual plan), low (inferred). No black boxes.
- Maintain 43 years of history. FMR back to FY1983. SAFMR for every ZIP in every year published. PHA payment standards going back multiple fiscal years, rescued from Wayback archives where needed.
- Stay independent. We don't take money from PHAs, HUD, or landlord-services companies to boost their listings. Our only customer is the user looking something up.
